Massacre...

Well, IM back from my Trip to Rodney Raines, Ace Tattoo, in Charlotte NC. I had a fantastic time, doin' a little Tattooing, Perusing some great artwork, (at his Twenty Two Gallery wine bar, as well as a few other galleries), and lets not forget all the fine shit talking that went on. All in all a great weekend. But Now IM home, and that means back to work. Tattooing, as well as Painting. So before I left I had left my painting for the "Valentines Massacre" show, at Massive tattoo in Las Vegas NV, unfinished. So first thing I did, (after several hours of tattooing) was finish her off. As per usual, I'll start out with a sketch, and in this case, IM trying a new kind of pre-finished Board. Which I enjoyed working on by the way. Cant say I liked it more than Gessoed illustration board. But pretty nice. I had a few hours into the painting, on the first day. The following morning I was hoping to come in to finish her. But unfortunately I only had a couple of ours in before my client for the day walk in, way early. And I had I had to stop. I did fully intend to finish the painting that day, as I was planning on leaving for NC the next morning. But I'll admit to being pretty Artistically wiped after tattooing all day. Plus I had to pack my gear, and such. So unfortunately, I left with her being unfinished. But upon returning home. I was able to complete her, after my days tattoo. She Measures 8x10, and is titled "Massacre".  Like I said before, I enjoyed working on this particular surface. But it is quite hard, and does tent to show any scuffs, or hand/finger marks if your not careful. So I did find myself making one or two corrections, towards the end. Today I need to clear her, so IM interested, and a bit nervous to see how that goes.
