French Peasant Gal

Well, finally got around to doing this piece for the Stephane ChaudesAigues, and his convention in France this July. I'm one of several artists doing images for the show. Honestly not certain what they will be doing with all the art, but it was an pleasure none the less to be asked. I was asked to to include both the Church, and the La Source Du Par. A famous spring of Stephane's Ancestral home, in France. I will admit that this is my second attempt at this project. I was quite unhappy with my results with just the airbrush, and paint. Felling it was lacking any real depth, and texture. So I decided to go at it with fresh eye's and a slightly different medium. All in all IM pretty happy with the end results. Heres the piece with just the Copic, and Pantone markers. Than worked over with PrismaColor Pencils. Than worked over with the Airbrush, and acrylic paint. The piece is about 18x12" Tinted, Strathmore ArtAgain paper. Looking forward to doing more pieces like this. Perhaps opening up the drawing style a bit.
